These terms govern your use of Uxiel Isle, a settlement and economy simulation published by Lucas Mercer ("we", "us"). By installing or playing the game, you agree to them.
By downloading, installing or using Uxiel Isle (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian should review these terms with you.
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App for your own non-commercial entertainment, on devices you own or control, and in line with the rules of the app store you got it from. The App is licensed to you, not sold.
Uxiel Isle simulates food production, seasons, trade with neighbouring islands, prices and taxation. These systems are fictional game mechanics. They are not financial, economic, agricultural or tax advice, and they are not meant to predict real-world outcomes. Settlements can thrive or collapse depending on your choices. That is part of the game, not a defect.
We may rebalance prices, yields, tax effects and other values in updates to keep the game fair and enjoyable.
If the App or any optional content is offered for a price, the app store you use (for example Apple or Google) processes the payment under its own terms. Refunds are handled under that store's refund policy, and we cannot issue refunds directly. Prices shown in the store include any taxes the store applies.

The App, including its code, artwork, music, text, the name "Uxiel Isle" and its design, belongs to Lucas Mercer or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. Any rights not expressly granted to you are reserved.
Your settlement is saved locally on your device. You are responsible for that data. Uninstalling the App, clearing its data or losing your device may permanently erase your progress, and we cannot recover it. We may release updates, change features or stop offering the App at any time. Some updates may be required to keep playing.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee the App will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that it will run on every device. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer law that cannot be waived.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, saved progress or virtual items, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid for it, if anything, in the 12 months before the claim.
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. Your licence ends automatically if you materially breach these terms. When the licence ends, you must stop using the App and delete it. Articles 04, 07, 09, 10 and 12 continue to apply after the licence ends.
These terms are governed by the laws of the place where the publisher is established, without affecting the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date above will change when we do. If you keep using the App after an update, you accept the revised terms.
